Welcome Laurie Macrae – Boxerwood’s New Development Coordinator

Laurie comes to Boxerwood after 2 decades of entrepreneurial leadership, directorships of 2 non-profits, executive leadership development coaching and 41 years in Rockbridge County.

With an innate sense for integrating the specifics of business, personal, and professional strengths, Laurie was the 2013 Recipient of the CorpU International Global Congress Award of Learning Excellence and Innovation. She was recognized for developing and implementing high-impact coaching programs targeted to administrators, high potentials, and senior executive leaders for an International human service organization.

A coach since 2005, Laurie is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a candidate for her Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential through the International Coach Federation. She leads leadership summits on The Being in Leadership. Laurie has raised two stellar sons who are pursuing their own lives and families with gusto. One of Laurie’s favorite adventures included paddling 226 miles of the Colorado River through the majestic Grand Canyon along with her love of playing Old Time claw hammer style banjo. More recent was a pilgrimage to Kathmandu, Nepal. Laurie lives with Carlos, her Labradoodle.
