April 14 – The Word for World: Poetry, Observation, & Writing with Leah Naomi Green

It will be a venture into eco-poetry in which participants will discuss the practices of writing and attention, and will engage in creative writing activities to bind the human experience with the greater-than-human world. May 5 – Unfolding: Yoga in the Garden with Karen Stanley

Boxerwood's spring family workshop takes place on Mother's Day weekend. Families will have the opportunity to create miniature gardens in their own repurposed container. Families are encouraged to bring additional small objects to create their own uniquely themed miniature garden. Bring a pot or other repurposed container for your garden project. Our spring series concludes with a guided walk through the Boxerwood gardens, led by mindfulness teacher, Christine Fang, and Ben Eland, Boxerwood’s garden manager.  After many years in the business sector, Fang broadened her pursuits to include formal training at the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC).
