Become a Kiosk Ambassador

Promoting earth stewardship can start  with a smile: is that you? A Boxerwood Ambassador is a volunteer greeter who interacts with visitors as they arrive at Boxerwood.  According to Ambassador Deb Price, being an Ambassador is delightful. From a recent text: “Relaxing here at the Kiosk, listening to the birds, enjoying the smells, and the nice folk stopping by to visit with me.”

People often visit Boxerwood during the weekends, when the staff is not on grounds. There is no one to greet them or to answer questions.  Enter the Boxerwood Kiosk Ambassador. The purpose of the Boxerwood Ambassador program is to be the “Face of Boxerwood” and to assist the visitor in having the best possible Boxerwood experience.

If you are a friend of Boxerwood and have been thinking of a COVID-safe way to support the Boxerwood mission, this may be something to consider. The time involved is a two-hour shift on either Saturdays or Sundays.  You may choose from three scheduled times: 11:00-1:00, 1:00-3:00, 3:00-5:00.  Once you volunteer, we will be in touch to schedule a brief training session.
