Four 90-minute sessions between 11am and 5pm (each limited to 20 participants)
Bring family and friends to Boxerwood to create outdoor decorations that feed the winter birds and cheer up your yard.
Twist honeysuckle and grapevine into wreaths, then tie on bird-tasty snacks, such as cranberry garlands, dried fruit kabobs, peanut-buttered pinecones, and citrus cups.
Our nature crafts table is stocked for making one-of-a-kind "gifts of nature" for your favorite people, too!
Boxerwood will provide vines, cones, winter berries, and greenery, as well as suet, raffia, ribbon and other project supplies. Families are asked to bring one type of wildlife food, such as seeds, nuts, dried fruits, popcorn, or fresh cranberries to share with other participants.
This is an all-outdoor event, so please dress accordingly. We will have a pit fire and serve hot cider to help keep everyone toasty. Registered participants will be notified by email if the event must be postponed to Sunday for wet weather.
