POSTPONED – October 20 – Sound Bath in the Garden

UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the scheduled Sound Bath will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for more details. Here is a statement from our host, Greg:

Hi folks! While the ground needs the rain so I won’t complain, it does present a bummer as it relates to today’s Sound Bath. My vision is to have the final Sound Bath in the Garden for this year at Boxerwood be outside and IN THE GARDEN, [we are looking into] a couple of possible re-schedule dates over the next 2 weeks.

On the afternoon of October 20th, you are invited to come unwind and relax in the beautiful gardens at Boxerwood for a gentle Sound Bath experience.

We will gather on the lovely Boxerwood property and begin with some gentle stretching to help open and relax the body. As we finish stretching, participants will be invited to find a comfortable resting position to enjoy the Sound Bath. Using Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong and more Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations will lead the Sound Bath which will take participants on a journey deep within themselves, all while we rest in the healing comforts of nature.

For those unfamiliar, the Sound Bath experience is geared at helping to calm the mind and body, helping achieve meditative states, relieve stress, and more. Nature itself is highly documented to have healing effects on the mind and body, as does yoga. This experience is aimed at helping all feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Folks are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the lovely gardens.

Sound Bath wil start at 4pm and will finish no later than 5:15.

Cost to attend is $15.

Some yoga mats and zero-gravity chairs will be available to use, and folks are welcomed and encouraged to bring their own mats, blankets, lawn chairs, etc. The idea is to create a comfortable resting spot.
