July 16 – Full Moon Sunset Yoga & Sound Bath
July 16, 2019 @ 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM$20
As the day closes and the sun drops on Tuesday, July 16th you are invited to come unwind and relax in the beautiful gardens at Boxerwood for a gentle Full Moon Sunset Yoga & Sound Bath experience.
A Full Moon represents a particular moment in the dance between Earth and Moon. We know this moment of amplified energy effects everything on the Earth plane, especialy and including us humans. Both Yoga and a Sound Bath are practices that can help to harmonize our energy fields, and provide us an opportunity to set intentions and focus during this time of increased energy.
We will gather on the lovely Boxerwood property and begin with a short yoga set aimed at gently opening the body. The yoga set will be led by Joan Vannordsal. As we finish the yoga set, participants will be invited to remain in their resting position to enjoy the Sound Bath. Using Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong and more Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations will lead the Sound Bath which will take participants on a journey deep within themselves, all while we rest in the healing comforts of nature.
For those unfamiliar, the Sound Bath experience is geared at helping to calm the mind and body, helping achieve meditative states, relieve stress, and more. Nature itself is highly documented to have healing effects on the mind and body, as does yoga. This experience is aimed at helping all feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Those not interested in yoga are still welcome to come and relax, enjoying the Nature and Sound Bath elements.
Folks are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the lovely gardens. The event will start at 7:00 pm and plans to wrap up at 8:30 pm. Sunset occurs at 8:25 pm this day, and Moonrise starts at 8:29.
Cost to attend is $20.
Here is a link for anyone that would like to pre-pay for this event. Cash, check, and card can also be used onsite for payment. Link:
