Thank you to our community friends and especially designer/builders Jess and Jay Sullivan for creating the beautiful Boxerwood float this season. The float won “Best Float” in Lexington’s 2020 reverse Christmas Parade. According to Jess, the friendly troll shares light “to remind everyone that we are all connected in this one world, together, and that we need to take care of each other and our precious Earth.” Per Boxerwood tradition, the very large float was made primarily of reused, recycled, and natural materials with many community members contributing to the final product. Despite rain, the illumined globe shone bright. Hopes abound that you soon might be able to visit our giant Earth Steward in a new home at Boxerwood.
