A creative collaboration between Boxerwood and an advanced W&L Spanish class this spring brought forth an idea of integrating concepts from contemporary Amazonian art into camp activities for children attending Programa SOL, a 3-week program that provides academic and cultural enrichment for speakers of second languages. That enrichment includes two full camp days at Boxerwood. The result: a visionary trail through the Garden. Thank you to the 30 artists ages 5 - 14 who picked up cameras & glitter & wonder. Their photos and artist statements can be found throughout the Garden until the end of August.
