Thank you to everyone who supports Boxerwood with your gifts and goodwill. As our new fiscal year opens and our Education Appeal is about to launch (late August), we wanted to alert our readership of an annual opportunity to essentially triple your impact with a qualifying gift to the Boxerwood Educational Foundation (BEF). As you may recall, this separate 501(c)3 was created solely to receive and direct donations to support Boxerwood outreach to low-income schools.
Thanks to a state incentive program in which BEF participates, eligible donations made to Boxerwood Educational Foundation (BEF), could enable you to receive Virginia tax credits valued up to 65% of your qualifying donations of $1,000 or more.
The Details: Qualifying donations $1,000 value or more for individuals or businesses until our credit limit is reached. These tax credits are limited and available only when donations are made to Boxerwood EducationAL FOUNDATION (BEF). Donations must reach or exceed the $1,000 eligibility threshold, and they must be received between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022. Contributions may include cash or stock.
