Benefits of Membership

A Boxerwood membership benefit you might not be aware of….Going on vacation sometime soon? Be sure to take along your Boxerwood membership card! Boxerwood happens to be a participant in the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program. What this means is that Boxerwood members are entitled to admission privileges and discounts at over 330 ornamental gardens and arboretums spread all across the US and Canada!

My husband and I discovered this benefit during a stay in Richmond (VA) last summer when we decided to explore the area’s Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Our Boxerwood membership card allowed us onto the grounds free of charge.

And when we raveled to Maine last September, we were granted the same privilege at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay.

When you are planning your travels don’t forget to include gardens among your destinations. And don’t forget to inquire whether your Boxerwood membership will entitle you to visit those gardens at a reduced rate or for free.
