Gifts of Nature
a wintertime tradition
Gifts of Nature is an annual December workshop open to all ages for $10 per family ($5 for members). Craft decorations that feed the winter birds and spruce up your home, inside and out. Boxerwood provides vines, cones, winter berries, and greenery, as well as suet, raffia, ribbon and other project supplies. Participants are asked to bring one type of wildlife food, such as birdseed, nuts in shells, dried fruits, popcorn, or fresh cranberries to share with other participants. Bring the whole gang to make holly wreaths, dried fruit icicles, cranberry garlands, suet-and-seed pinecones, and so much more. The best part of this family fun? The finished crafts go home with you, but the mess stays at Boxerwood!
Gifts of Nature takes place outdoors under the big pavilion and on the lawn area in front of the lodge, so dress for the weather. There will be a wood fire and warm cider to help keep everyone warm and spirits high.
