Join us at the Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden for our 4th season of Walk and Talk workshops where we gain skills to Walk our Talk. Guest experts will share their successes and facilitate new skill-building workshops related to this season’s theme: “Living Lightly on the Earth …and for the Earth”.

Alex Wilson is studying environmental law at W&L and began her journey to a more sustainable lifestyle 5 years ago. Today, her household produces only a grocery bag of trash per month. She will share her story and lead a discussion: bring questions and ideas for reducing reliance on plastics, fossil fuels, and other waste.

Each program is limited to 20 participants. We will start from the Boxerwood Lodge (963 Ross Road) just outside Lexington.
Parking is free for members of Boxerwood and $5/car for non-members.
Programs are free, but suggested free-will donation for each program is $10/person to support maintenance of Boxerwood’s gardens.
