About the event
In honor of a Great Tree — and all trees! – we’re hosting a special afternoon of free family-friendly activities including an art-making station by the Great Oak, a DIY “Trees of Stature” scavenger hunt, plus an opportunity to pot-up and take home a native tree seedling. At 3 pm we’ll gather to plant a new oak near our beloved Great Oak. Bring stories to share and if you like, write some best wishes on wildflower-embedded paper we’ll supply, for planting in a new flower garden in front of the Oak's rootball. Everyone is welcome. Come join us!
Garden Steward Karen Stanley will be on hand to answer questions throughout our time together. Raindate is Sunday, April 13, from 2-4pm.
