Rain Gardens


Our rain gardens on either side of the driveway channel runoff into a place where it will be filtered.

rgdigtrenchFirst we dug a drainage ditch across the driveway to channel the water. Make sure it's level, fill in the sides, and put a plastic grate over the top


Dig a deep bowl-shaped hole.rggraveldirt

Next, fill it with a spongy planting medium, high in organic material.
