 Shester, Datz, and Newhall

Boxerwood's Music in the Garden twilight outdoor concert series kicks off with Shester, Datz & Newhall, local bluegrass musicians.  The trio will perform from 6:30 pm until sundown.

Band members include Blake Shester on Banjo and vocals; Burr Datz on guitar and vocals; and Dan Newhall on bass, blues harp and vocals.  Together they produce a mix of traditional, contemporary, and progressive bluegrass music with a high lonesome three-part harmony.

Meadow parking and admission are free thanks to our generous local sponsors:  Azurat Studio, BARC, Computer Doctor, Cornerstone Bank, Devils Backbone, Donald's Meats, Kendal, LexMex Tacos, Mariner Media, Southern Inn, Sweet Treats Bakery, and Walkabout Outfitters.  Pass-the-hat proceeds go to the artists, who have donated their performances.

This year we are proud to announce that LexMex Tacos will be here serving up delicious fare for purchase or you are welcome to bring a picnic. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and children!  In the event of rain, Friday's concert will be canceled. For more information and "iffy" weather updates, visit Boxerwood on Facebook or call 540-463-2697.
